Leaders of the French cyber ecosystem join forces to launch the OPEN XDR PLATFORM

Paris, October 13, 2021 – On the occasion of the Assises de la Sécurité, 5 major players in the European cyber ecosystem — Sekoia.io, HarfangLab, Pradeo, GLIMPS, Vade — announce the creation of the OPEN XDR PLATFORM. The goal: to federate expertises in cybersecurity within a unified solution, to simplify deployment and strengthen the cyber defense of organizations.

Innovative cybersecurity technologies united in a platform

Faced with the surge of cyberattacks and the sophistication of the techniques used by cybercriminals, the security managers of organizations rely on numerous tools allowing them to manage the detection of- and response to cyberattacks. However, the deployment of multiple solutions that do not communicate, little or badly, quickly turns out to be time-consuming and can reduce the effectiveness of cyber operations.

Based on this observation, five vendors who excel in specific areas of cybersecurity have pooled their expertise into a common solution. The OPEN XDR PLATFORM provides a concrete and immediate response to strong market simplification and unification needs.

Thus, each player makes its specific technology available within a single, operational interface, where security managers can flexibly compose a tailor-made offer, from among the following functionalities:

  • federated XDR back-end, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and Security Orchestration (SOAR) by Sekoia.io
  • Endpoint Detection & Response, by HarfangLab
  • Mobile Threat Defense, by Pradeo
  • Malware analysis, by GLIMPS
  • Email Threat Detection & Response, by Vade

A European platform

About Sekoia.io

By placing threat intelligence at the heart of its operations, Sekoia.io is the SaaS active protection platform that detects threats to neutralize them before impact.

Designed for openness and transparency, Sekoia.io adapts to the context and means of customers, to provide one of the most efficient and flexible solutions on the market, recognized by numerous labels and awards including the Cas D’Or de la Cybersécurité (Cybersecurity Golden Use Cases) Threat Detection Category and Grand Jury Prize 2020, the Grand Défi Cyber, or the iNov competition. Its many integrations both in input and output (playbooks and automated responses, Open C2 standard) allow it to follow organizations in their evolution while relieving analysts of subordinate tasks.

About GLIMPS

Created in 2019, GLIMPS has developed a unique code conceptualization technology. Applied to the field of cybersecurity, this technology makes it possible to analyze the content of software in the blink of an eye, and to identify its potentially malicious character, if any. The reverse engineering principles employed by GLIMPS algorithms work independently of architectures and toolchains, which allows GLIMPS Audit and GLIMPS Malware products to operate effectively in environments as different as office automation, industrial systems or the IoT. Available in SaaS mode for flexibility of implementation and use, GLIMPS solutions can also be implemented “on premise” in the environment of the user organization, when particularly strict policies apply to data sharing. Finally, in an ecosystem where many solutions are intended to coexist, GLIMPS ensures that its products can easily interface to offer its customers the possibility of combining the benefits of different approaches. From 4 co-founders until September 2020, the team has grown to 16 employees in just over 6 months, and aims to exceed 25 by the end of the year.
